Ups, Ups and More Ups!
In case anyone is interested in what Emilie is doing lately, I can fill you in with just one word. CLIMBING. Okay maybe two. CLIMBING EVERYTHING.

Maybe an iron cage would help!

I finally have my computer back!!!! Note to self: DO NOT PRESS RESTORE ON COMPUTER EVER!!!!! You lose all of your data!! Luckily I found a company that was able to find almost everything I deleted and fixed the problem I was originally trying to fix. It was worth every penny to get back all of the pictures I have. Another lesson learned by doing things the wrong way....
I went to Arizona for a few days last week and had a good time with Kassie and Emilie. I was about totally burned out at work and the sun, the sweet baby and the WHATABURGERS restored me. Nathan is working nights so I really barely saw him. It was good to get away from winter!
I aim to go on more 'few day trips' to see my children. I really miss you all. I am planning on a trip to Alaska in August which takes more than a few days! I want you to know that I love you all a lot and think about you all the time, way more than I call you. This is a fun way to keep updated on everyone. I love every picture and every word you guys write. Our family is awesome!
Here are a few of the pictures I got back. I wanted to show you the pretty wood floors in my bedrooms. Love to you all!!

KAITLIN'S POEM
Hello everyone! I'm making Kaitlin post a poem she wrote for school because I think it is wonderful. I hope you all enjoy it!
Ocean Blue
Out on the ocean blue
That sparkles and glimmers
Like a starry night sky
That always shimmers
The whoosh, whoosh, of the wind
It carries me away
It ripples the sea
And stirs the bay
The sea creatures stir;
The crabs all hide
Deep in their shells
To block the tide
The dolphins all laugh
At their silly games
All calling the others;
All calling their names
The waves all stand
Up straight and high
Then fall down
Into the water-filled sky
The seashells all move
In the swift tide
Shimmering and glimmering
On the fun ride
The ocean still shimmers
But not for long
If pollution still happens
It will stop the ocean`s song
The crabs won`t hide
The seashells will stop
Moving swiftly in the tide
And will break and pop
The dolphins will stop
Playing their games
They will all stop calling
Each other by name
They call you to stop
Listen to this plea
Think of our ocean
And please be clean

Just wanted to let everyone know that things are coming a long well with the duplex. As soon as the sheetrocker is done I will be going over there to take more pictures. Here are some more recent pictures of Abbie.
In about three weeks we will find out if the baby on the way is a girl or boy. Hope everyone is well.

Notice to Jen
Nice job trying to redeem yourself Jenny. English should always be capitalized. Just so you know.

Hello everyone! These are a few pictures from Ben's 3rd birthday. The one with him in his underwear is him trying to do 3 with his fingers. We are working on potty training and it is actually going pretty well so we are excited to be getting close to being done with diapers. We don't have alot going on right now we're just hoping Anthony gets back to work soon. We enjoyed seeing the pictures of Josh and Hanna's place. Are you guys feeling overwhelmed with the work that has to be done? I just have to say I am extremely impressed with the work you are doing josh and can't wait to see the pictures of the finished product. We also wanted to give a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAVIE!!!!! Are you 36 this year? Mom said you went to Dallas for the weekend I hope you had a great Birthday!!! We would have loved to be there with you but just know our hearts are with you!I was wondering Brian when Michael and Tyler have spring break this year? Tyler is in kindergarten isn't he? Kaitlin's is the week before Easter. Well that's all for now. Ben really enjoyed the pictures of the Jeps Kass so thanks for posting them. I hope Emilie recovers from her fears of them soon. We are looking forward to seeing the pictures from Mark and Stacie's snow skiing and seeing what everyone has going on even if it is nothing. Mom is excused for a little while because she is technically challenged and she has somehow erased everything off her computer recently. Well huge amounts of love to everyone and we look forward to hearing from you soon!!!!! Love the Torres Family

Hi Everyone! Sorry we have been so late in adding our blog. We are really excited about it and we think that it's a great idea - thanks, Kassie! We can't find our camera charger to add pictures to the blog (hence the random pic of us at a twenties party), but when we do we will add new pictures of our house and our awesome trip to Utah last week.
Utah was gorgeous and we loved our trip. It was great to get to go snowboarding again and we had an awesome time with Dave and Janette. We also had a wonderful visit with Memaw and really enjoyed our chance to catch up with her . We really miss spending time with Memaw and would love it if she moved back to Texas!
In our real lives, Mark's work is hectic, and I can't wait until summer. We've been gardening, making furniture, and trying to finish up our house. We heard a little rumor that Kaitlin may be coming to visit Texas this summer, and we would love it if she did! We've already been talking about fun activities we could do at the Aquarium and Sea World when she visits.
We hope everyone is doing great and we miss and love everyone very much!! We will be updating our blog soon - we promise!

Jeps!
For those not in the know, jeps is how you say jets in Benjamin. Here are some pictures from the mini airshow they had here on base this weekend. It was pretty cool to see the F-22, but I will be glad when it leaves the base tomorrow since it is SOOO loud! The show was a bit lame since it wasn't a "real" airshow, but it was pretty good considering it was free!
Here is an A-10 aka the warthog. This is the plane Nathan works on, only his aren't so pretty (these are demo jets!)
Emilie usually likes the planes, but I think this was a bit too close to them for her. Now she gets upset every time she hears something flying overhead, which is all day long since we live on an Air Base! Maybe the planes were scary up close?
