Wallace Savoy Evans is here

Hello everyone. I finally have a little bit of time today to post some pics of baby Wallace before I have to take him into the doctors for his 1 week old check up and Abbie in to see if she just has a cold or if it is something more. I am so glad to be home and out of the hospital. Adjusting to having two kids isn't going to bad yet, but it has only been a week since I had him and school starts back up today for me. Well, gotta go finish up getting stuff ready to take to the doctor apointments. Hope everyone is doing well. Miss yallp

Hello All

I thought I would update you all on how things are up here in alaska for us. Josh is still busy working away at getting the downstairs of our duplex finished. He should have the rest of the sheet rock hung tonight. On top of being busy with that he is busy with work too. My due date with baby wallace is August 27th, but my doctor said that he could come any time. I start back to school on September 4th, so I am hoping that he comes sooner than later. My mom is watching abbie today so I can get somethings done around the house, so I better get off the computer and get to work. I will post some more pics here within the next week or so...

I TOTALLY STINK!!!!!!

Okay I somehow have this totally messed up! I accidentally added the picture with the Easter baskets so please just ignore it. Anyway I am so sorry to not have added to the blog for so long and obviously there is no excuse. If Hanna who not only is pregnant but has moved, has a giant hole in the ground of her house and has been remodeling can keep up with it then obviously I just suck! Well Kaitlin is in Texas right now and I miss her horribly!!!!!!!! The boys are really missing her too. Last night at dinner Michael said that the house is just empty without Kaitlin and I totally agree. We haven't been doing much. Anthony is working sporadically and I am trying to pick up hours in between. Michael graduated from preschool and is getting ready for Kindergarten next year. I'm debating on wether or not to put Ben in the 3 year old preschool that Michael went to because Ben is still my baby even if he is 3. The picture of Kaitlin is at the Arbor day festival for the city. She worked really hard on her poster and won the contest. It was really exciting for her because she is such a nature girl. Summer is in full swing here and we have been going to the city pool a lot. The boys have a blast and it exhausts them which is always nice too! I hope to see eveyone adding to the blog soon and I want to let you all know how much we miss you all and love you so much. It's no fun living so far apart so we will just have to make plans to all get together soon. Love, The Torres Family

Pictures Finally

So, I know that I said that I would post some pics of the finished upstairs of our duplex awhile ago...So here they are..Things have been busy. The pictures of the big hole in the yard is what Josh did today. We have to redo our sewer line, so this is the beginning of that. Once that is done then Josh can finish the downstairs and then we can rent it out. Abbie is getting so big and amazes me so much everyday, she is one smart cookie. So far with my pregnancy things are going well...I am anemic, so I have to take iron pills every day, but other than that everything is good. Josh should be starting his new job here within the next week or two....Hope everyone is doing well...Miss yall

Dead Blog???

I'm starting to think so! That's my nice way of asking for more posts! I am going to attempt to stay off the computer for a week (I waste way too much time on here!) therefore if you really need me this week (ha ha!) you will have to call me! Here's a few pictures from this week and a video too! When I log on next Sunday, somebody better have posted some junk on here!!! (Hannah is excluded from all threats BTW.)

Cooking with daddy.

I'm starting her out young!

Wearing one of my undershirts. She loves to pull my clothes out of the dresser and have us put them on her.
I think Emilie is going to be a ballerina someday. She loves watching ballroom dancing and ballet and even tries to mimic what they do. She is very coordinated, and cute! I might just love her, but I really think she is talented.

Our Duplex

We are finally moved into our duplex. The upstairs is finished, which is where we are living, and downstairs (which we will rent out) still needs a lot of work. We also just got internet hooked up again today. So we are back in connection with the world out there. I have to find where I put our camera, but as soon as I find it I will post some pics of the upstairs of the duplex. Hope everyone is well.. We miss all of you.

Props to Hannah!

Thanks Hannah for keeping up on the blog! I know you are very busy and really appreciate you posting so much. I will try to follow your example :) I'm not sure whom I have talked to and what I last told everyone, so I will just update everyone here. Nathan is set to deploy July 20th and is going to Kazakhstan, Afghanistan. He should be there for about six months which would get him home around February 1st. As much as I don't want him to go, there is nothing we can do about it so we are focusing on the positive. The fact that he never leaves the base (he isn't even allowed if he wanted to) makes me feel better about the whole thing. If he were still an Arabic speaking linguist he would be out in the field, which would be very dangerous, and I am grateful to know he won't be traveling around Afghanistan doing who knows what! While Nathan is gone I plan to stay with Mom in Ohio, but also spend some time in Texas and Alaska as far as our budget allows! Other than that we're not sure what else is going on. Since things always change with the Air Force, I will just update everyone whenever we hear anything new! In the meantime here are some recent pictures. Also, on the Call blog I have posted a ton of pictures if you want to check them out here. Lots of love to everyone!

Hey you guys! -

I just thought I'd pop in and say hello to you all. Hello!

First of all, I want all of my wonderful children to know how proud I am that you went to Missouri for Grandma and Grandpa. I know it was sacrifice for all of you, but you all know the importance of family support. I am continuosly amazed at how very special you all are, as well as your great spouses and children. I feel honored to be part of your lives.

Secondly, A BOY!!! How exciting! Thank you Hannah for the ultrasound pics! He is already beautiful to me. I got a kick out of your email, too. What does Abbie think about a brother? She will probably be a little mama since she is so smart. I cannot wait to see her and Michael and Tyler. They have grown so much!

I think spring is here and it is so welcomed! (I know, I have no room to talk about weather to people who endured Alaska, but...) This winter seemed to drag on forever!

Anyway, I really look forward to hearing from you all, either by phone or on this blog. I love you all very very much and pray for each of you also. That's what moms do : )

Love to you all..............Wawa
